Happy Birthday Harry J...

Well, today marks Harry J's 6th birthday, what a joy he has been... who would have known our pound puppy would have completed our family.

It's been tough working and trying to scrap... I haven't had time for my paper therapy. I have missed having stained fingers and paint on my shirt... well tonight I got busy on using my Studio Calico January kit. I love 12 x 6 pages and will create in this size until I get bored.
This a picture of our sweet Samson and I finally found the perfect spot for it; my new favorite thing is Martha Stewart's micobeads... I love the texture they give so much better than glitter. I am a huge Martha fan... she's gangster. I have a new favorite blog, here is the microbead tutorial. I used the onyx microbeads on the "S"... I love the way they look and feel. Martha, it's a good thing!!

I've been enjoying making cards and stamping; so when Lady Dei needed a card to send to my sister to say "HELLO"; I came up with this. I'm sure this will put a smile on her face.

Now, Mr. Bletzer... being from Boston, MA has claimed (or fantasized) about being Ted Kennedy's love child. Well, his mother had denied his claims ... he's just a BLETZER.

I'm working on finishing up my March classes... until next time!!!

EXCEL... in 2010!!!

Definition of excel (verb)
forms: excelled; excelling
to be talented; to do very well; to surpass; to do better than

I have finally chosen my word for 2010... EXCEL! I have been so blessed by God; and I no longer want to take my gifting and talents for granted. I am going to excel and do better than I have ever before... I no longer want to a mediocre person.

With that said, I am challenging myself to continue to use what I buy... I am going to be participating in Jennifer Priest "10 SUPPLIES CHALLENGE".. this weeks challenge RIBBON! Check out her blog ... I think this is going to be really fun.

In addition, I buy Studio Calico kits every month and never really use them, so starting in 2010.. I am going to challenge myself to create something from only what come in my brown bag of goodness before another kit arrives.

January kit...

Finally, I've made some big changes in my life style when it comes to my eating habits and health... I want to be and feel healthy. I'm working on being more patient with both Mr. Bletzer and Lady Dei (He's my BFF and she's my princess... they deserve only my best). The word I will be removing from my vocabulary is procrastination... (Deb please know this is new, so I should be forgiven for always being late with my class sample in 2009).

Until next week...

Buy & Use...

I hoard scrapbook supplies... I buy out of want and not need. Tried to change, didn't go so well. So I am going to buy and use. I have not spent a lot of time in my scrap room ... all work and no play. I am committing to change that; I am really into banners but I like squares. I took all the pictures I love but will never really scrap in an album. I love, love working on small scrap areas... I am a huge fan of 12x6 - 6x12 (I am waiting to CM to make an album to fit them). I am working on a lot of projects with the same idea.

I made the banner for Mr. Bletzer... yet in hangs in my scarp room.

I like using misc embellishments that don't go with any theme... they are just there to be there.

My favorite picture of Harry... the "3" represents my three dogs. The feet belong to the lovely Miss Dei... my 6 yr old nephew took the picture and I love it... thank you Jesus she doesn't have my Fred Flinstone feet.

More random pictures of Mr. Bletzer.

My ATC holder is a continued work in progress... I have filled it with photos of my family... I hope to complete it this month.
That's all for now, good night!
